Ads in your mobile app
Show sponsor and announcement ads on the home screen, other screens, or full screen when the app opens.
Show image ads in your show's mobile app, for your sponsors or your own announcements. Open Mobile View in the show sidebar, then select Ads.
Where ads appear
Each ad can appear in one or more places:
- Top of the home screen: in the strip above your show's header, which scrolls away with the page. While you have home screen ads, they show here instead of the sponsor bar.
- Top of other screens: in the same strip, above the list on the show's other screens, such as the schedule or exhibitors, and it scrolls away with the list. On the floor plan it stays above the map.
- Full-screen when the app opens: shown once a day when attendees open your show, with a short countdown before they can close it.
When several ads share a place, the app rotates through them.
Add an ad
Name it
Select Add ad and give the ad a name. Attendees using a screen reader hear the name.
Upload the image
Wide images, about three times as wide as they are tall, work best for banners.
Choose where it appears
Tick one or more places.Choose what tapping it does
Nothing, open a website, or open a screen in the app, such as your sponsors or one exhibitor's profile.
Save
Select Save ad.
Ads go live in the app right away. You don't need to release the app again.
Schedule and rotation
- Starts and Ends limit when the ad runs. Leave them empty to run the ad until you turn it off.
- Seconds on screen sets how long a banner stays before the next one.
- Share of rotation sets how often an ad shows compared with the others in the same place. An ad with a share of 2 shows twice as often as one with 1.
- Use the switch beside an ad to turn it off or back on without deleting it.
Views and taps
The list shows how many times each ad was seen, how many times it was tapped, and the tap rate. Views from the preview in Mobile View aren't counted. Deleting an ad deletes its counts too.
