Registration types and access codes
Why the show asks how you are registering, and how to use an access code or NOVI sign-in.
Some organizers offer different prices or booths to different groups, such as members, sponsors or returning exhibitors. If so, a window asks how you are registering before you see the floor plan prices.
Choose a registration type
If there is more than one type, the window lists them with a short description of each. Pick the one that fits you:
- Continue: open to everyone. Select it to go straight to the floor plan.
- Enter code: for groups with an access code from the organizer.
- NOVI member login or NOVI login: sign in with your association's NOVI account.
If there is only one type, the window asks for that one directly.
Your choice is remembered for the rest of the day, so you aren't asked again when you come back to the floor plan or go on to checkout. The floor plan shows Registering as with the type you chose. Select Change to choose a different one.
The prices and booths you see depend on your registration type. A member price or an early bird rate shows its name next to the price. Booths only some registration types can buy show Not available for your registration type. If you change your registration type with booths already in your cart, checkout prices them for your new type, and asks you to remove any your new type can't buy.
Enter an access code
Your organizer gives you the code, usually by email. Type it into Enter the access code and select Verify.
"That access code is not valid" means the code was mistyped, has ended, or belongs to another show. Check the email you received, or ask your organizer for the current code.
"Too many access code attempts" means the code was tried too many times. Wait a few minutes, then try again.
Sign in with NOVI
Associations that use NOVI for membership can require a NOVI sign-in. Select the NOVI button, sign in on your association's page, and you are brought back to the floor plan. Your company details from NOVI are filled in at checkout for you.
- "NOVI sign-in didn't complete": try again, and make sure you finish signing in on the NOVI page.
- "A current NOVI membership is required": your membership has lapsed or does not cover this registration type. Contact your association.
- "NOVI sign-in isn't available yet": the show is not set up for it yet. Contact your show organizer.
